Founder & Creative Producer
Greg comes from a television background producing commercials, promotions and PSAs. For the last 16 years, his company, Boldfish Video Productions Inc., has produced high-production video for clients like International Justice Mission, Opportunity International, Walt Disney Corporation, Hasbro, and the BBC; but that is just the tip of the iceberg. As co-founder of the not-for-profit I Am Filmmaker — a video and digital storytelling training program for at-risk teens — and the Missions Fest Vancouver Film Festival, Greg works tirelessly to create ways for true human stories to be told.
Creative Producer
Tim is a visual storyteller with over 10 years of experience in video and online marketing. Tim holds BA in Communication and Dialogue from Simon Fraser University. For 5 years Tim coordinated marketing for A Rocha Canada – an environmental non-profit focused on inspiring environmental hope and action among Christian communities. Tim joined Boldfish in 2017, but has worked and volunteered alongside Greg in various capacities since 2011 – training filmmakers, coordinating a film festival and even filming Greg’s wedding.
Production Coordinator
Shannon holds a BA in Theatre and an MA in Producing Film. She has worked extensively in both mediums as an actor, a director, and an award winning producer, earning film festival accolades from Slamdance to Busan. The feature film she produced, With Child, is available on Amazon Prime. However, her recent production of three children under three has been her greatest and most demanding undertaking yet!
Motion Graphic Designer & Animator
Gaby is a Mexican Motion Designer. She graduated with a degree in Interactive Technologies and Digital Animation Engineering. She finds her motivation in everyday activities and enjoys thinking on how to fit story, graphics, text and movement together in order to create something special and meaningful. Gaby believes motion design is a journey, in which you are constantly learning, getting better and updating yourself.
Video Editor
Jason is passionate about stories and the power they have to change people. He holds a diploma from BCIT in New Media Design and Web Development. Jason handles Boldfish Video’s post-production workflow. This includes ingesting, video editing, integrating graphics, color correction and sound mixing. He brings his love of story and his unique style to the Boldfish team to create beautiful and moving videos that he hopes will leave a lasting impact on people.
On any given day you will find him playing with his daughter, watching a movie with his wife or friends or playing a video game to relax.
