Boldfish believes that authentic storytelling lies at the heart of all great videos. In a digital world where viewers have a trillion different choices, it's authentic, entertaining, and meaningful content that connects people with brands and drives them to share. We shape stories that feel so right they inspire viewers to take action.

Greg comes from a television background producing commercials, promotions and PSAs. For the last 12 years, his company, Boldfish Video Productions Inc., has produced high-production video for clients like International Justice Mission, Opportunity International, Walt Disney Corporation,  Hasbro, and the BBC; but that is just the tip of the iceberg. As co-founder of the not-for-profit I Am Filmmaker—a video and digital storytelling training program for at-risk teens—and the Missions Fest Vancouver Film Festival, Greg works tirelessly to create ways for true human stories to be told.

Boldfish is a collaborative video production company. No one knows your business as you do. We work with you to craft a message that is specific, genuine, inclusive, and helps to preserve the agency of the people whose stories are being told.

I believe each one of us has an innate desire to make a difference. For me, it is to raise awareness and inspire change.

I discovered the power of media and storytelling in my late 20s. While studying Media and Broadcast Communications full-time during the day at BCIT, I was hired for full-time evenings at a local TV station. It sounds like a lot, but at the time it didn't feel like too much. I was in my element.

In 2005 I founded Boldfish. Since then, my team and I have had the privilege of telling stories from over 40 countries. We've been held up at gunpoint in Mozambique, filmed out of a Russian helicopter in Mongolia, and dined under the stars with the Touregs in the Sahara Desert. But it isn't the excitement or the scenery that drives us around the world. It's heartbreak. We've worked to expose the travesties of the sex trade in Cambodia, female genocide in India and the refugee crisis in the Middle East.

Even in heartbreak we find stories of joy, growth, change and celebration. This is also true when we tell the Canadian stories in health care, manufacturing, finance and more. Everyone has a story worth sharing, and at Boldfish we don't simply 'make videos'. We tell stories.
